Putra Mosque famous as Putrajaya’s pink mosque. The beautiful Masjid is located at the edge of putrajaya’s lake . Masjid was completed on 1 semptember 1999 and costed around RM250 million . Named after Tungku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj  first Prime Minister of Malaysia.

 

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi

 

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque , Abu Dhabi is the third‑largest mosque in the world , 40,000 people can offer prayer at the same time . The Beautiful Mosque was constructed from the finest artisans and materials around the world.

 

Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque Grozny, Chechnya

 

Akhmad Kadyrov Mosque is located in Grozny capital of Chechnya . It’s the biggest mosque and is officially known as ” The Heart of Chechnya ” . Ten thousand Muslims can pray same time.

 

Al-Saleh Mosque Sana’a, Yemen

 

The Saleh Mosque is the largest and most modern mosque of Yemen . It was opened in 2008 . The Beautiful Mosque cost nearly about $60 million .

 

Crystal Mosque Terengganu, Malaysia

 

The Masjid Krystal or Crystal Mosque is located in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia . The Mosque is the part of Islamic heritage park . The Beautiful mosque is made up of steel, glass and crystal. The Mosque was opened for public in 2008 and 1,500 people can worship at a time

 

Hassan II Mosque Casablanca, Morocco

 

 The Hassan II Mosque is located in Casablanca Morocco .Its the 7 largest mosque in the world. The Beautiful mosque was completed in 1993. The Mosque stands  beside the Atlantic ocean and you can view the sea water from the mirror floor of the hall. 105,000 people can worship in the Mosque at a time.

 

Abuja National Mosque Abuja, Nigeria

 

Abuja National Mosque is also know as National Mosque of Nigeria . The Beautiful Mosque was built in 1984. The Mosque is know for its shiny golden domes.

 

Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid Cotabato City, Philippines

 

Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid  is the biggest Mosque in Philippines  .The Mosque was constructed with help of Sultan of Brunei .

 

Nur-Astana Mosque Astana, Kazakhstan

 

Nur-Astana Mosque is located in Astana the capital city of Kazakhstan . It’s the largest Mosque of Kazakhstan and the largest Mosque of Central Asia   with a capacity of 7000 people .The Mosque was completed in 2008 .

  1. I think you may include Sultan Mizan Mosque at Putrajaya, Malaysia into your post too. 🙂 It is quite a new mosque known as ‘Masjid Besi’ (Steel Mosque) among the locals because of its building material. Just sharing.
