As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh to all my Readers,
Today I am facing many Pranks and Foolish lies from my friends and other big people in the world because today is 1st of April. Some of my Muslim Brothers are telling different stories that it is anti-Islamic and this day is celebrated due in the memory of some anti-Islamic Festival, I’ll answer this later but first lets come to point.
So I just hit upon an idea of writing a post about this here on The Globe Press about April fools Day in the Islamic Perspective.
As Muhammad (PBUH) said:
Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar!

Main Answer to this day is that Lies are strictly Forbidden in Islam, and on this day we just Tell lies for pranks, Once again let me tell you that it is strictly, strictly forbidden in Islam. Let me quote what Allah SWT says in Holy Quran:
O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for justice as witnesses to Allah even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts) lest ye swerve and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice; verily, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Some people had made statements that this day is celebrated with respect to some festival against Islam but Let me tell you that it is a lie. Whatsoever it doesn’t matters because We are Muslims and have to follow what Allah SWT and his Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) told us to do.
Let me quote another verse here in the end of this post:
Allah will say (on the Day of Judgment): “This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens with rivers flowing beneath their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them and they with Allah: that is the Great Salvation.

So this is the answer, I hope you are satisfied now brothers and sisters.
