Bayern Munich Signed Thiago from Barcelona


Treble holders have beaten English Champions to Sign highly rated Spanish midfielder for an agreed fee of €20 million. Bayern Munich have confirmed that they have secured the services of Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona for an agreed fee of €20 million, potentially rising to €25m.

“We Bought Thiago due to Strong Desire of our new coach Pep Guardiola,” Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told his new club’s official website. “We are pleased that we succeeded in this big transfer. Both Clubs agreed on Initial €20m Sgining fee but will rise to €25m following a friendly match between the European giants, which will be played in the following four years.

Thiago will have to face a challenge with the of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Luiz Gustavo and Javi Martinez for a central midfield berth and joins Mario Gotze and Jan Kirchhoff.
